Between Split, Hvar, and Dubrovnik, Jadrolinija and Krilo adjust schedules for weather, and buying ferry tickets online is far simpler than queueing at harbor ticket booths in July.

Atli is data-only. It does not provide a Croatian phone number, SMS or cellular voice calls. WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, FaceTime, maps and ferry apps work through the data connection.

The short answer

For a week on the Dalmatian coast, 3 GB at $4.99 is a practical starting point if you mainly use maps, ferry timetables and messaging. Atli connects through two Croatian networks, both listed with LTE and 5G. The thing to check before you book: neither Montenegro nor Bosnia and Herzegovina is on Atli’s Europe regional plan, so a Kotor or Mostar day trip needs a plan of its own.
